Had a up and down day with hooking up at the track. Had two runs that went well and the others I kind of blew off the tires. Found out some good info though on testing the Hoosier radial drag slick 30x10.50/15. Took the info I learned from the race and talked to Hoosier. First, a radial tire does not recover well if you blow them off. A bias ply will usually hook after a couple of turns but a radial will require you to back off. Also, and more importantly, they had me running way too much tire pressure. They had recommended 18psi but then revised it to 14psi after getting more info on my car. Here is my best time of the day.
60' = 1.376 1/8 = 6.53 1/8mph = 104.301 1/4 = 10.298 1/4 mph = 130.737 That was also my second best run ever. Had a lot of fun and enjoyed seeing a good turnout for the event. SemperFi, Chuck |

I didn't see this til today. I have some video of the races. I can't post or even put on the computer, but if someone had their best or it was your first time out etc and would like a VHS copy, let me know car number, color and make and car you were running. Maybe idea of where in the day it was as start, mid or end. Nothing too fancy as 3rd gen which means nothing too me.
